Job Summary:
We are looking for a talented and experienced JavaScript Developer with over 5 years of experience, specializing in React Native. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of mobile application development and be able to write clean, maintainable code. As a key part of our development team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and maintain high-quality, performance-driven mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain high-performance mobile applications using React Native.
Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and backend engineers to build responsive and scalable applications.
Write clean, modular, and reusable code while ensuring best practices and high-quality standards.
Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure the best user experience across platforms.
Implement unit tests and ensure proper test coverage for all new features and functionalities.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to React Native and mobile app development.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to knowledge-sharing across the team.
Maintain and update existing applications, troubleshooting bugs, and providing timely solutions.
Contribute to architectural decisions and improvements in mobile application frameworks and processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
5+ years of professional experience in JavaScript and mobile application development.
Strong proficiency in React Native, with a deep understanding of core React Native principles, lifecycle, and navigation.
Experience with mobile development for both iOS and Android platforms.
Proficient with JavaScript (ES6+), React, Redux, and other modern JavaScript libraries and frameworks.
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and services.
Experience with version control tools, especially Git.
Experience with testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or similar tools.
Familiarity with Firebase, Push Notifications, and Cloud services.
Strong debugging skills and knowledge of performance optimization techniques.
Experience with CI/CD processes and tools.
Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a remote team environment.
A passion for keeping up with the latest trends and technologies in mobile app development.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with TypeScript is a plus.
Experience with GraphQL and Apollo Client.
Knowledge of native mobile development (Swift, Kotlin, Java/Objective-C).
Experience with Agile development methodologies.
Previous experience working remotely or in distributed teams.
