Senior Tableau Developer

in developing, designing, and implementing interactive dashboards and data visualization solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Tableau’s features, data modeling, and a passion for translating complex data into actionable insights. This is an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects and contribute to impactful data-driven decision-making in a dynamic environment.Key Responsibilities :Develop and Design Dashboards : Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports for business stakeholders, ensuring that data is presented in a clear, intuitive, and actionable format.Data Analysis and Visualization : Analyze business data, define key metrics, and create visually appealing dashboards to help identify business trends, insights, and key performance indicators (KPIs).Data Integration : Work with data engineers and business analysts to integrate data from multiple sources (databases, APIs, flat files) into Tableau, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.Optimization : Optimize Tableau workbooks and dashboards for performance, scalability, and usability.Collaboration with Stakeholders : Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their reporting needs, provide data-driven recommendations, and ensure the dashboards meet business objectives.Mentorship : Provide mentorship and guidance to junior Tableau developers, assisting in their professional development and knowledge sharing.Testing & Troubleshooting : Conduct testing and troubleshoot data and performance issues in Tableau reports, dashboards, and data sources.Documentation : Document dashboard development processes, data sources, and business rules to ensure transparency and ease of use for team members and end users.Continuous Improvement : Stay up-to-date with Tableau’s latest features and best practices to ensure the adoption of innovative techniques and continuous improvement in visualizations.Requirements :Experience : Minimum of 5 years of professional experience working with Tableau as a developer or business intelligence analyst.Technical Skills :Proficiency in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Prep.Strong knowledge of SQL, with the ability to write complex queries for data extraction and analysis.Experience with connecting Tableau to various data sources (SQL databases, cloud platforms, web services).Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.Data Visualization : Expertise in developing interactive and user-friendly dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.Business Acumen : Strong understanding of business metrics, KPIs, and the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively present complex data and insights to non-technical stakeholders.Collaboration : Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including data engineers, analysts, and business users.Certifications : Tableau Certified Associate or higher certification is a plus.Preferred Skills :Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, R) for data analysis and automation.Familiarity with other BI tools (Power BI, Qlik, etc.) and experience in working in hybrid environments.
