Job Profile-
Overall responsible for the Quality at base unit and 3P units.
As Quality Assurance Manager, implement company policies related to Quality Assurance /Quality Excellence.
Ensure the smooth running of the Quality Management systems at Base factory and third party locations.
Co-ordinations with certification agencies, plan audits, take corrective actions and its implementation.
Conduct audits of vendors, Suppliers and third Party processors and their evaluations.
Duties and Responsibilities-
Verification and Maintenance of Food Safety Management System & ensure effective running of the system.
Well verse with preparing documentation part regarding FSSC 22000, HACCP manual.
Verify all Quality procedures as well as SOPs are followed by all departments as per FSSC requirement.
Responsible for the maintenance of GLP, GMP practices and ensure plant Hygiene, sanitation and Housekeeping is maintained.
Carry out periodic FSSC/GMP internal audits along with the Team, identify the GAPS in the system and take appropriate CAPA actions and ensure the NC's are closed within the timeline.
Ensure product is manufactured, allocated and delivered as per the customers stated requirements.
Conduct audits of Third Party Operations as per requirement of the management protocol.
Manage Supplier approval system, as per the SOP, including conducting audits, checking of the representative samples, authorizing approvals.
Identify training need within department & coordinate training programs for employees as per scheduled interval.
Handle customer complaints, including investigation, Root cause analysis, CAPA initiations till the closure of the complaint.
Active involvement in fulfilling departmental objectives & process validation studies.
Independently handle the FSSC, customer and regulatory audits, including co-ordination for planning, scheduling, conducting actual audits, preparation of CAPA, implementation of CAPA.
Identify quality/Food safety related issues during processing and coordinating with Manager QC / Production Dept. to resolve it
Resolv nonconformities observed during the process in coordination with production.
Perform any other job allotted by Quality Head /senior management from time to time like New Product Development, Customer requests, Technical inputs.
