1. Mission Statement/Purpose
Reporting to the Senior Director of Software, the Director of software delivery will head up our softwaredevelopment effort out of India. She will oversee software development across both web and mobileplatforms for our Connected Selling initiative as well as in support of our Digi-Chem offerings in PT, WT,LT and EM segments. This position is responsible for the quality and speed of execution, upgrading thesoftware development lifecycle processes. The Director, software delivery, has ownership for all areasincluding hiring, developing and motivating talent, creating and executing sustainable processes fordevelopment and support. She is expected to be a hands-on leader who is willing and able to get intodeep technical details.
Outcomes/Work Results
Works with the Sr. Software Director to create software development goals and priorities in alignmentwith the digital strategy and ensures quality and timely execution of the digital portfolio in support of this strategy through internal resources or external partnerships.Develops and continually upgrades sustainable processes for developing, deploying and supporting software solutions. Leverages the Phase Gate process to ensure organizational engagement. Holdsassociates accountable for meeting goals and successfully executing digital projects.Identifies and closes internal competency gaps through hiring or partnering.

3. Requirements -
Minimum requirements to applyMust have had successful experiences:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Chemical/Electrical/MechanicalEngineering, Physics, chemistry or related field.
• Ten years of experience leading and managing large, global, and multi-disciplinary digital teams.
• Experience managing a digital portfolio of projects, including Internet of Things and data sciencesolutions, from concept to commercialization and support.
• Experience working and establishing strategic relationships with key external partners
• Deep background, knowledge and prior experience with development and deployment of Weband mobile software solutions including Azure or AWS environments. Strong technical skillsacross the entire IoT stack from edge devices to the cloud and broad skills in in one or more ofthe following areas:o Embedded programmingo Sensors, controllers, and other IoT hardware components including design, rapidprototyping, development, installation and commissioningo Data science tools and techniqueso Systems design and developmento Control logic developmento DevSecOpso Wired and wireless networking and protocols including Cellular (3G/4G/CAT-M), LPWAN(LoRa, SigFox, etc.), Wifi, bluetooth
