About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Growth Manager to focus on improving user conversion rates and reducing order cancellations for our agriculture-focused e-commerce platform. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the agricultural sector, farmer behaviors, and the unique challenges of serving rural and semi-urban markets. You will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by optimizing the user journey, ensuring seamless order placement, and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

1. User Conversion Optimization

o Analyze user behavior to identify friction points in the app journey and implement data-driven solutions to improve conversion rates.

o Collaborate with marketing, product, and UX/UI teams to design intuitive and localized user experiences tailored to the agri-tech audience.

o Develop and execute growth strategies such as personalized nudges, recommendations, and incentives (e.g., discounts, referral programs) to drive order placement.

2. Order Cancellation

o Reduction o Investigate root causes for order cancellations, such as delivery delays, payment issues, or incorrect product expectations.

o Work closely with the supply chain, operations, and customer support teams to address cancellation triggers.

o Implement proactive measures such as order tracking visibility, transparent communication, and support systems to mitigate cancellations.

3. Farmer Engagement and Education

o Build trust and educate farmers about the benefits of using the platform, ensuring they feel confident making purchases.

o Introduce tools like video tutorials, voice-based interfaces, or local-language FAQs to cater to varying literacy levels.

4. Stakeholder Collaboration

o Collaborate with category managers, agronomists, and marketing teams to ensure product offerings align with farmers' needs and expectations.

o Coordinate with tech teams to implement app improvements, bug fixes, and enhancements based on user feedback.

5. Performance Tracking and Reporting

o Define and monitor KPIs such as conversion rates, average order value, cancellation rates, and user retention.

o Regularly present insights and actionable recommendations to leadership and cross-functional teams.

Required Skills and Experience

• Good experience in growth management, e-commerce, agri-tech, or rural-focused digital platforms.

• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, Mix panel, or Tableau.

• Proven track record of improving user conversion rates and reducing order cancellations.

• Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

• Familiarity with the agricultural ecosystem and a passion for empowering farmers through technology.

• Knowledge of user acquisition and retention strategies, with a focus on rural and semi urban audiences
