Mandatory Skills : 5 -7 Years - Oracle DBA in cloud computing or enterprise IT service delivery Min 3 years - Shell scripting Should have experience in Oracle DBA, Data Guard, Powershell (Must have) Technical Skills • Oracle (min 12c) DBA experience in cloud environment, Linux and Windows OC • Multi-tenant Oracle databases (CDB/PDB)• Performance tuning (AWR/ASH/ADDM/TKPROF/tracing sessions, etc) in a multi-tier architecture • Using OEM for various database administration purposes • Backup/restore – RMAN, data pump export/import • Disaster recovery; dataguard – setup and troubleshooting.

• Database cloning – RMAN active duplicate • Writing Linux shell scripts: bash • Database upgrades (12c to 19c and above) and patching ; Database encryption – row level, backups, etc • 3rd party monitoring systems, e.g.

Nagios, Prometheus, ELK • Java driven Cloud/Saa S systems including the following technologies is essential: Oracle Web Logic middleware, Oracle/Apache Servers, etc.

• Working with ticketing systems, such as Service Now, JIRA, etc • Working within a strict change management framework.

• Dev Ops CI/CD tools – Git Hub, Git Lab, Bit Bucket, etc.

• Container technology – Kubernetes (AKS)• Basic understanding of Cloud Technologies – Azure, AWS or GCP Good To Have • Knowledge of powershell scripting • Knowledge of other database systems – Azure SQL, MS SQL Server, Postgre SQL, My SQL, etc.

• Microsoft Azure Paa S (e.g.

App Services, SQL Database, Storage, Redis Cache, Postgre SQL), Event Hub, Automation, monitoring, Security Centre.

• Network architectures, especially related to Microsoft Azure (e.g.

v Nets, NSGs, VPN, Express Route, SSL/TLS certificates, DNS).

• Native Azure monitoring • Dev Ops Practices (Terraform, Chef and related tools), and how these are leveraged in design and operations to be able to deliver and support hundreds of instances seamlessly.

• Familiarity with other Saa S Cloud solutions (e.g.

Salesforce, Office 365)• Security principles – encryption, authentication, authorisation, integrity, auditing, pen testing etc – and how these are applied in a cloud environment.
