In this role, you will work closely with DevOps, Support teams and internal / external customers to quickly investigate and mitigate critical incidents impacting service availability and reliability of cloud customers
Identify and deliver preventive measures, product improvements and automated Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for common and frequent issues reported by many of our key / strategic customers with critical production databases. Work closely with various product development teams to drive product / service improvements in the areas of diagnostics and resiliency.
In this role, you will be working on the areas of Support/Development/bug fixing of automation using java / python/ perl of domain in DBA and/or DMA (Exadata) activities.

Responsibilities
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Related Field.
6 - 10 years' of experience as a oracle database administrator / Software Developer within an Enterprise Product Development team.
Experience and expertise in Database and Engineered Systems Cloud Platform Services (PaaS, SaaS, & Exadata as a Service).
Hands-on Experience with Databases including Database Administration, DB internals, testing critical Security and Database fixes.
Good automation knowledge of one or more programming languages such as Java, Perl, Python and Scripting such as Shell or Bash.
Experience with Virtualization, Networking, and Platform Storage Architecture is highly desirable
Experience in Exadata Machine administration that include Compute, Cell and switches patching, issue troubleshooting, incidents workaround.
