We are an independent game studio based in Kochi, currently developing a competitive mobile strategy game in the vein of Castle Crush and Heroic Magic Duel. We are seeking a skilled Particle Effects Artist to create high-quality, performant visual effects that bring spells, abilities, and environments to life.Responsibilities:- Design and implement real-time particle effects for spells, characters, and environments.- Collaborate with designers, animators, and developers to ensure effects enhance gameplay clarity and player experience.- Optimize effects for mobile performance without sacrificing quality.- Create reusable VFX assets and tools for rapid iteration.- Stay up to date with industry trends and techniques in real-time VFX.Requirements:- Strong proficiency with Unity’s Shuriken Particle System and optimized mobile VFX.- Ability to create textures, flipbooks, shaders, and materials for effects.- Understanding of mobile performance constraints and optimization techniques.- Good sense of timing, motion, and visual storytelling.- Strong communication and collaboration skills.Nice-to-Have:- Experience in strategy/card-battler style games.- Familiarity with shader programming (HLSL/Shader Graph).- Basic knowledge of scripting (C#, Blueprint, etc.).Location:Kochi, India.Employment Type:Full-time / Contract.How to Apply:- Please share your portfolio (video reels, project links, or showreels) along with your CV/resume.
