We are an independent game studio based in Kochi, currently developing a competitive mobile strategy game in the vein of Castle Crush and Heroic Magic Duel . We are seeking a skilled Particle Effects Artist to create high-quality, performant visual effects that bring spells, abilities, and environments to life. Responsibilities: Design and implement real-time particle effects for spells, characters, and environments. Collaborate with designers, animators, and developers to ensure effects enhance gameplay clarity and player experience. Optimize effects for mobile performance without sacrificing quality. Create reusable VFX assets and tools for rapid iteration. Stay up to date with industry trends and techniques in real-time VFX. Requirements: Strong proficiency with Unity’s Shuriken Particle System and optimized mobile VFX. Ability to create textures, flipbooks, shaders, and materials for effects. Understanding of mobile performance constraints and optimization techniques. Good sense of timing, motion, and visual storytelling. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Nice-to-Have: Experience in strategy/card-battler style games. Familiarity with shader programming (HLSL/Shader Graph). Basic knowledge of scripting (C#, Blueprint, etc.). Location: Kochi, India.
