We are an independent game studio based in Kochi, currently developing a competitive mobile strategy game in the vein of Castle Crush and Heroic Magic Duel. We are seeking a skilled Particle Effects Artist to create high-quality, performant visual effects that bring spells, abilities, and environments to life.


Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement real-time particle effects for spells, characters, and environments.
  • Collaborate with designers, animators, and developers to ensure effects enhance gameplay clarity and player experience.
  • Optimize effects for mobile performance without sacrificing quality.
  • Create reusable VFX assets and tools for rapid iteration.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and techniques in real-time VFX.


Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency with Unity’s Shuriken Particle System and optimized mobile VFX.
  • Ability to create textures, flipbooks, shaders, and materials for effects.
  • Understanding of mobile performance constraints and optimization techniques.
  • Good sense of timing, motion, and visual storytelling.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience in strategy/card-battler style games.
  • Familiarity with shader programming (HLSL/Shader Graph).
  • Basic knowledge of scripting (C#, Blueprint, etc.).

Kochi, India.

Employment Type:
