About the role
Quess is hiring HR Compliance Operations Head, primarily responsible for overseeing compliance operations within our organization, and ensuring compliance with laws, regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures. As the compliance leader and subject matter expert, the HR Compliance Head is responsible for establishing standards and implementing procedures to ensure that the compliance programs throughout the organization are effective and efficient in identifying, preventing, detecting, and correcting noncompliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Main Responsibilities:
Developing and implementing strategies to ensure compliance with local and national employment laws and labor legislation.
-Defining the necessary level of knowledge on existing and emerging regulatory compliance requirements across the organization.
- Develop and implement various HR and ER Strategies
- Developing the annual compliance work plan that reflects the organization's unique characteristics.
- Periodically revising the compliance plan in light of changes.
- Overseeing and monitoring the implementation of the compliance program.
- Good hands on experience in handling Monthly Statutory Compliance PF, ESI, PT & LWF etc.
- Providing strategic direction to the management team on compliance.
- Preparing and presenting clear and concise compliance reports to the management.
- Interacting with regulators on compliance issues.
- Coordinating efforts related to audits, reviews, and examinations.
- Developing policies and programs that encourage managers and employees to report suspected fraud and other improprieties, without fear of retaliation.
- Coordinating internal compliance review and monitoring activities, including periodic reviews of departments.
- Independently investigating and acting on matters related to HR compliance.
Key requirements:
- 15-18 years of overall experience with minimum 4-5 years working in a large organisation with atleast 10,000 employees headcount as a Head of HR Compliance or HR Compliance Operations or in a similar position.
- Bachelor’s degree in law, business administration, or a similar discipline.
- Proficiency in industry trends, laws, and regulations.
- Outstanding analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in risk management or auditing.
