Head – Academic Operations & Curriculum Location: Brainware University, Barasat, Kolkata Experience: 10–15 years (with minimum 5 years in Dean Academics/Dean-level leadership) Mode: Full-time | On Campus About the Role:- At Brainware University, academic excellence isn’t a benchmark — it’s our foundation. We are inviting accomplished academic leaders with a proven track record in institutional academic governance, curriculum design, and quality enhancement to join us as Head – Academic Operations & Curriculum . This strategic role is ideal for experienced Deans or senior academicians who have successfully led university-wide academic initiatives and nurtured a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and compliance with UGC standards. Key Responsibilities:- Lead and oversee the Academic Operations, Curriculum Development, and Quality Enhancement functions across all schools and departments. Drive curriculum modernization and outcome-based education (OBE) implementation in alignment with NEP 2020 and UGC guidelines. Coordinate with Deans, HoDs, and IQAC for syllabus revisions, academic audits, and new program design. Ensure compliance with UGC, AICTE, PCI, BCI, INC and other regulatory frameworks. Develop and monitor academic calendars, teaching-learning quality, and assessment standards. Supervise faculty development programs (FDPs) , pedagogical innovation, and interdisciplinary collaborations. Provide academic leadership in NAAC, NIRF, NBA, and ranking-related activities. Mentor academic teams, ensuring the highest standards of governance, documentation, and institutional performance. Qualification & Eligibility:- Ph.D. (mandatory) in Management, Computer Science, Law, Allied Health Sciences, English, Engineering, or related disciplines. Consistently 60% or above marks across all academic levels. Must meet UGC Professor eligibility norms , including: Minimum 10–15 years of teaching and academic experience . At least one Ph.D. awarded under guidance. Minimum 120 API score under the UGC regulations. Must have served for 5 or more years with significant administrative and leadership responsibilities. Demonstrated excellence in academic operations, curriculum innovation, and faculty leadership.
