Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Infrastructure and Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both software and hardware tools, with a proven ability to set up and manage IT infrastructure, including cameras, biometric systems, firewalls, and data backup solutions from scratch. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our IT processes.
Requirements
What you will deliver:
Infrastructure Setup and Management:
Set up and maintain IT infrastructure, including cameras, biometric systems, firewalls, and data backup solutions.
Design and manage end-to-end network infrastructure to ensure reliable and secure connectivity.
Software and Hardware Support:
Install, configure, and update software applications and operating systems.
Set up and deploy new hardware and IT equipment, ensuring proper integration into existing systems.
Provide first-level support to end users via phone, email, or in person, troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
User Account Management:
Set up and maintain user accounts, permissions, and passwords in line with company policies.
Ensure the proper functioning and security of Active Directory, Office 365, and VPN technologies.
Security and Compliance:
Monitor and respond to security alerts, escalating issues as necessary.
Ensure compliance with company IT policies and procedures, implementing best practices to maintain a secure IT environment.
Documentation and Process Improvement:
Manage and maintain IT documentation, including support tickets and technical guides.
Work closely with the IT team to identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality.
Must Haves for the Role:
Proven experience in setting up and managing IT infrastructure, including networking, security, and backup solutions.
Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Office 365, and VPN technologies.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, and network issues.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach to support.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Knowledge of IT compliance standards and security best practices
