Who are we looking for?


We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Infrastructure and Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both software and hardware tools, with a proven ability to set up and manage IT infrastructure, including cameras, biometric systems, firewalls, and data backup solutions from scratch. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our IT processes.


Requirements


What you will deliver:


Infrastructure Setup and Management:

  • Set up and maintain IT infrastructure, including cameras, biometric systems, firewalls, and data backup solutions.
  • Design and manage end-to-end network infrastructure to ensure reliable and secure connectivity.

Software and Hardware Support:

  • Install, configure, and update software applications and operating systems.
  • Set up and deploy new hardware and IT equipment, ensuring proper integration into existing systems.
  • Provide first-level support to end users via phone, email, or in person, troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.

User Account Management:

  • Set up and maintain user accounts, permissions, and passwords in line with company policies.
  • Ensure the proper functioning and security of Active Directory, Office 365, and VPN technologies.

Security and Compliance:

  • Monitor and respond to security alerts, escalating issues as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with company IT policies and procedures, implementing best practices to maintain a secure IT environment.

Documentation and Process Improvement:

  • Manage and maintain IT documentation, including support tickets and technical guides.
  • Work closely with the IT team to identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality.


Must Haves for the Role:


  • Proven experience in setting up and managing IT infrastructure, including networking, security, and backup solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Office 365, and VPN technologies.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach to support.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Knowledge of IT compliance standards and security best practices.
