Position : Hostel Warden (Boys)
Location : Anand International College of Engineering, Jaipur
Reports to : Campus Manager / College Administration
Key Responsibilities:
Student Welfare and Discipline
Ensure the safety, welfare, and well-being of all students residing in the hostel.
Enforce discipline and create a conducive environment for study and personal development.
Counsel students and address any personal, social, or disciplinary issues, coordinating with the college’s counseling team when necessary.
Administrative Duties
Maintain updated records of students in the hostel, including attendance, medical records, and emergency contact details.
Oversee room allocation and ensure smooth occupancy management.
Handle check-in and check-out processes for students.
Safety and Security
Ensure hostel premises are safe and secure, coordinating with security personnel and conducting regular inspections.
Act as the primary point of contact during emergencies, ensuring students’ safety and quick resolution of issues.
Maintain awareness of any security risks, taking preventive measures and enforcing strict entry/exit protocols.
Facility Management
Monitor and ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the hostel premises, including common areas, bathrooms, and rooms.
Report maintenance issues and ensure timely repairs in collaboration with the facilities department.
Support Services
Collaborate with dining and housekeeping services to maintain quality standards for meals and sanitation.
Facilitate medical assistance and first aid when required, and coordinate with local medical facilities for emergencies.
Parent Communication
Act as the liaison between parents and the college administration regarding student welfare, behavior, and any incidents.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (any discipline); relevant certification or diploma in hostel/administrative management is a plus.
Previous experience in hostel management or a similar role, preferably in an educational institution.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an understanding of young adult psychology.
Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office) for record-keeping and reporting.
Working Hours : This is a residential position with on-call responsibilities, requiring availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
