Specialist/Senior Specialist– Insurance Operations (Grade C1/C2)
We’re seeking for an individual who is ready to work with complex & diverse insurance work. This is an n opportunity to understand end to end lifecycle for UK Insurance Broking. A place to enhance your knowledge on work which is undergoing transition. We have robust training around understanding insurance concepts and business knowledge.
We will count on you to:
Appropriate knowledge of Insurance Domain and proper understanding of Broking activities involved in respect to Placement.
Conducting an Anti-Money Laundering (AML) check - Screen customers and transactions against relevant AML checks to ensure compliance with international regulations. Use AML software and tools that can flag suspicious transactions for further review.
Conduct KYC due diligence on new and existing clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Due Diligence- Client code creation, creation and amendment of client details, currency conversion on invoicing platform, verification of bank details via calling up client and via email.
Enhanced due diligence- Politically Exposed Person checks - Understanding how the PEP acquired their wealth and ensuring that it is legitimate. This may involve reviewing financial statements, tax returns, and other documentation.
Sanction checks- Check is done to identify and avoid any transactions with countries or entities that fall under financial, economic or trade sanctions.
Understand group & company procedures and monitor compliance in terms of the business placed by the group.
Recommend pragmatic and effective remedial measures to business for addressing any procedural breaches caused during the process.
Appropriate usage of MMC's systems for monitoring and recording information, ensuring that systems are correctly used during the process.
Deliver on KPI’s as per company standards
What you need to have:
Good verbal and written communication skills
Attention to detail
Ability to learn new processes and systems, ability to adapt to change
Ability to prioritize and organize tasks
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
Graduate
3-6 years of experience in insurance broking domain
