Zepto is a fast-growing startup that delivers groceries in 10 minutes flat through an optimized network of dark stores that we're building across the country We’re scaling up rapidly across India with operations live across Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurgaon, Chennai, Pune, Kolkata, and Hyderabad.

We are incredibly well funded – we recently announced fundraising from Indian and Global investors that include Y Combinator, Nexus Venture Partners, Glade Brook, and more We’ve also built out one of the best startup teams in India, with Senior Executives from Uber, Flipkart, Dream11, and institutions like Stanford, INSEAD, IIM, and IIT.

Your Role

At Zepto Marketplace Dynamics org, you will be responsible for setting the vision and executing it - how should we think about ensuring consistent 10 min SLAs to our customers at minimal cost, how should we think about ensuring enough supply on our platform at any point in time, how should we think about delivery pricing, what are levers do we have to maintain a balanced marketplace across Riders, Customer, and Zepto, how should we think about trade-offs across all dimensions including costs vs speed vs reliability. You will operate as a key thought leader and decision-maker within the org across both business and tech and will work with a broad set of cross-functional partners across business development, sales, operations, data science, design, engineering, and more

  • One/Multiple of the following charters will be within your immediate scope -
  • Demand Forecasting
  • Network Planning and Simulation
  • Supply Demand Matchmaking Engine
  • Supply and Demand shaping
  • Build & own long-term vision, product roadmaps, competitive analysis, market & domain research, and GTM to deliver significant business impact and customer delight for Rider Org
  • Work collaboratively with Engineers, Designers, Analysts, Business, Operations, Finance, and other cross-functional stakeholders to help build the Warehouse & Logistics platform from scratch
  • Influence business, operations, and other cross-functional stakeholders to drive change management in the organization for product/tech adoption on the ground.
  • Own end-to-end key product metrics across the Warehouse & Logistics value chain

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 8+ years of work experience in Product Management for Product Manager and 4+ years of work experience in Senior Product Manager role.
  • Strong preference (though not mandatory) for folks with Product management or Startup experience in the supply chain and e-commerce space.
  • Domain knowledge with extensive experience in directly managing marketplace products
  • Go-getter attitude and willingness to be hands-on with a strong ability to communicate and work collaboratively with others
  • Ability to infuse execution, milestone focused
  • You have demonstrated experience in working across multiple products, and various stakeholders and exerted a high degree of influence across several teams/functions leading to successful outcomes.
  • Ability to think out of the box to ideate and build solutions that are differentiated in a competitive industry
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver tangible business impact in time-critical situations
  • Stay abreast of New Innovations and the latest technology trends and explore ways of leveraging these for improving the product in alignment with the business.
