Job Title:Admissions Counsellor
Location:GoldenBee Global School, Bangalore
Job Summary:
The Admissions Counsellor at GoldenBee Global School will be responsible for managing all aspects of the student admissions process. This includes providing prospective parents and students with information about the school, guiding them through the application process, and ensuring a smooth transition from inquiry to enrollment. The Admissions Counsellor will play a key role in promoting the school’s vision and values to the community and maintaining strong relationships with parents and prospective students.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Admissions Process Management:
- Guide prospective parents and students through the admissions process, from initial inquiry to final enrollment.
- Provide detailed information about the school’s curriculum, facilities, extracurricular activities, and admission requirements.
- Assist with the completion and submission of admission forms and necessary documentation.
2. Communication and Outreach:
- Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person visits.
- Organize school tours, open houses, and information sessions for prospective families.
- Maintain a professional and welcoming atmosphere for all admissions-related interactions.
3. Data Management:
- Maintain accurate records of prospective and enrolled students in the admissions database.
- Track admissions inquiries, applications, and follow-ups to ensure efficiency.
- Prepare reports on admissions statistics and trends for the management team.
4. Collaborative Efforts:
- Work closely with the school leadership, marketing team, and academic staff to develop strategies for student recruitment.
- Participate in marketing initiatives, including digital campaigns and event coordination, to increase admissions inquiries.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure a smooth transition for newly admitted students.
5. Parent and Student Engagement:
- Address parent and student queries, concerns, and provide personalized assistance where needed.
- Facilitate parent interactions with teachers and school leadership to help address specific academic or extracurricular interests.
- Promote a positive image of the school through consistent, professional communication.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as education, marketing, or communication.
- 3-5 years of experience in school admissions, counseling, or a similar role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with prospective families.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work under pressure during peak admissions periods.
- Proficiency in CRM software and basic office applications.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of local languages (Kannada, Hindi) is a plus.
Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience in international or private school admissions is highly desirable.
- Experience with organizing events, school tours, and conducting informational sessions.
