Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Intake Counselor at The Good Shepherd's School. The Intake Counselor will be responsible for driving student intake in the school, lead generation, lead qualification, handling and building funnel, counseling prospective parents, conducting school tours, maintaining admission records, providing administrative support to various department, answering phone calls and greeting and assisting visitors, answering and directing phone calls, handling administrative tasks such as scheduling and data entry, and providing excellent customer service to all who visit the school. The Intake Counselor will also work closely with the management team with reports in performance and achievement of targets.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in any field
Sales and Business Development experience especially in the K-12 school space.
Proven track record of achieving targets
Excellent Interpersonal Skills and Phone Etiquette
Experience in counseling and customer service.
Excellent Communication Skills ( Verbal and Written )
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Strong communication skills and ability to multitask
Good organizational skills and ability to work independently
Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, internet)
Responsibilities:
Drive Growth : Lead Generation, Meet with prospective parents in person or virtually, Handle school visits, Follow Up for Closure, Maintain Accurate records, Attend Trade shows, Conferences, Meetings and /or other prospective sources including prep schools. Report on performance, Work towards targets
Information Dissemination: Provide accurate information about the institution’s programs, facilities, and policies to visitors and callers.
Admission Counseling: Guide prospective families through the admission process. This includes explaining the application process, providing information about different programs, and answering any questions they may have.
Record Keeping: Maintain records of all inquiries and admissions.
Collaboration: Work closely with the academic and administrative staff to stay updated about any changes in the institution’s programs and policies.
