We have an opportunity for Senior Manager - Software Development Lead position at Thane location with INVOICEMART - A.Treds.
A.TREDS Limited (a group company of Axis Bank) is a national level online platform which facilitates financing of Receivables of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) from buyers through financiers. TREDS is in the business of opening accounts, uploading, accepting, discounting and settlement of Invoices and Bills of Exchange by way of Factoring and Reverse Factoring and provide such other services as permitted by the RBI from time-to-time.
Invoicemart is an online receivable discounting platform for facilitating the short-term financial transactions in a smooth and efficient manner among the financers, buyers and sellers.
To know more about the organization please visit our website excellent opportunity as a hands-on Software Development Team Leader, leading a team of highly skilled developers and delivering complex internal system development projects across a variety of products and technologies.
As an experienced Development Team Leader, whilst being highly technical and hands-on capable, you will lead development projects across predominantly React.JS, Core Java, .NET and MS-SQL Server based technologies. It will be required of you to plan, coordinate and lead activities across the full software development lifecycle. This will include working closely with the department’s heads, coordinating business analysts, architects and developers, as well as liaising with key project stakeholders as required.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Capable of understanding and contributing to the technical solution from design through to code level. Must have done hands-on development work on any 2 of React.JS, Core Java (including writing Restful Web Services), .NET Framework, or MS-SQL Server Database.
Manage a team of developers through effecting coaching and mentoring techniques.
Working closely with Business Heads and Business Analysts to produce accurate delivery estimates and manage the transition from analysis through to design and delivery
Provide regular and effective progress updates to and work closely with Development Project Managers to ensure the management of any delivery risks or issues
Managing the delivery of multiple complex simultaneous system development projects from design through to release
Participate in reviews and meetings and provide updates on project progress
Ensure awareness, involvement and support from the key stakeholders and participants by building strong project teams and maintaining robust communication on the project status throughout its life cycle
Work closely with relevant teams internally to ensure alignment and coordination across operations as part of the seamless implementation of existing and new systems
Take responsibility for ensuring that risks and issues are identified and managed closely and drive all stakeholders to deliver on time and to the required quality standards
Supporting project resource scheduling and department capacity planning
Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits.
Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team.
Assist in the collection and documentation of user's requirements, development of user stories, estimates and work plans.
Prepare reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software.
Develop, refine, and tune integrations between applications, external corporate (ERP Systems) and other aggregators.
Competencies Required:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Development or related field.
Proven hands-on Software Development experience
6 - 8 years in hands-on software development using core Java / .NET Framework. Must be able to write / understand Restful Webservices using Java and have knowledge of working with files (reading and writing) using Java / .NET. Must know how to work on Spring Framework.
Knowledge of MS-SQL Server is a must.
Knowledge of React.JS programming and / or Oracle DB will be a plus.
Either Agile Certified Practitioner or PMP from PMI certification will be a plus.
Experience on having lead Development teams will be a plus.
Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Good organizational skills.
Technologies :
Must have worked on 3-tier architecture. Should show expertise on working with web server deployed in DMZ.
Must know sFTP technology and ability to read, write information into flatfiles.
Hands-on working knowledge on REST API services. Messaging using JSON.
Any of these technologies: .NET, Apache Web Server, Apache Tomcat, Active MQ, React.JS Programming skills.
Defining basic DB structure with Oracle or MS-SQL or similar
