Role Overview:We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer with strong expertise in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and CICS to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mainframe applications that support critical business processes.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and CICS .Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Perform code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting of mainframe programs.Optimize batch processes and ensure system performance meets SLAs.Collaborate with cross-functional teams for integration and deployment.Provide production support and resolve incidents within defined timelines.Prepare technical documentation and ensure compliance with standards.Required Skills & Experience:5+ years of hands-on experience in Mainframe development .Strong proficiency in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and CICS .Experience with DB2 and IMS databases is a plus.Knowledge of mainframe utilities (SORT, IDCAMS, etc.).Familiarity with SDLC , Agile methodologies, and version control tools.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
