TCS is hiringJob Title: Mainframe DB2 DeveloperExperience: 4-10 YearsLocation: Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, PuneJob Description:Hands-on experience in Mainframe application developmentStrong programming skills in COBOLDeep knowledge of DB2 (Database design, performance tuning, SQL, and stored procedures)Good hands-on experience with JCL and VSAMExperience with Endevor/Changeman or any version control tools on mainframeStrong skills in writing and optimizing complex DB2 SQL queriesSolid understanding of Batch and Online processingProficient in Unit Testing and debugging mainframe applicationsMinimum 4 years of Mainframe knowledge including JCL, CICS, CA7Minimum 4+ of experience in QA background with experience in Testing Life Cycle.QA background in mainframes and confident working with cross functional teams and with customers to understand business and technical requirements.Should be capable of working individually with minimal supervision.Should have experience in integration testing.Experience in defect management tool like Jira and Xray.Work hand-in-hand with the development team, architects and leads.Verify Data reconciliation, error handling, Error logging mechanisms.Experience in SQLExposure to CICS and mainframe screen developmentExperience in working with IMS DB/DCFamiliarity with Mainframe modernization or re-engineering projectsExperience with Agile or DevOps environmentsKnowledge of Rexx, CLIST, ISPF panelsExperience with tools like IBM Debug Tool, SPUFI, QMF, File-AIDAwareness of cloud integration strategies with Mainframe (optional but advantageous)Knowledge of ServiceNow, Jira, or other ITSM toolsExperience in test scripting, execution and scheduling.Understanding of automation test principles.
