The Property Manager is responsible for the daily management of the property. This includes overseeing operations, financial management, leasing, and maintenance to ensure the property’s value is maximized and its operations are efficient.


Key Responsibilities:

Guest Management:

  • Manage all guest communications, from booking inquiries to post-stay feedback.
  • Coordinate guest check-ins and check-outs, ensuring smooth transitions between stays.


Property Maintenance and Upkeep:

  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure that properties are well-maintained, clean, and in good working order.
  • Arrange for repairs, maintenance, and property improvements as needed to maintain high standards.


Reservation Management:

  • Ensure that property calendars are accurate and bookings are managed efficiently to avoid overbooking.


Financial Management:

  • Handle the processing of guest payments, refunds, and security deposits.
  • Implement cost-saving strategies for property maintenance, cleaning, and guest services.


Vendor and Staff Management

  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with service providers to ensure cost-effective management.
  • Ensure that cleaning and maintenance teams adhere to set schedules and maintain the property to high standards.


Compliance and Legal Management:

  • Ensure properties comply with local short-term rental laws and regulations, including taxes, permits, and licensing requirements.
  • Handle any legal or regulatory issues related to short-term rentals, working with legal teams if necessary.


Reporting and Communication:

  • Provide regular reports to property owners, including occupancy rates, revenue, guest feedback, and any maintenance issues.


Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of property experience
  • At least 1 year in a supervisory or management role
  • Detail-oriented and strong communication skills
