Role Overview
As the Manager/Senior Manager of Channel Sales , you will be responsible for driving enrollment growth for Hero Vired working professionals courses by developing and managing a network of channel partners.
This role demands strategic acumen and hands-on leadership in building and managing partnerships that contribute significantly to revenue and brand visibility.
You will be instrumental in creating and executing a scalable channel strategy, collaborating with educational and corporate partners to enhance the reach of Hero Vired's upskilling programs for working professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Channel Strategy and Development
Develop a comprehensive channel sales strategy for expanding Hero Vired's working professional courses through channel partners, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Identify, onboard, and manage partnerships with resellers, distributors, educational consultancies, and corporate partners.
Set up processes and performance metrics to evaluate channel effectiveness and ROI.
2. Relationship Management
Foster strong, long-term relationships with channel partners, ensuring continuous engagement and alignment with Hero Vired's mission and goals.
Act as the primary point of contact for channel partners, addressing their needs, training requirements, and ensuring their success.
3. Revenue and Performance Management
Achieve revenue targets by driving enrollments through the channel network, maintaining a clear sales pipeline and tracking performance metrics.
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to co-create effective sales and promotional materials that align with channel partners' needs and increase conversions.
4. Market and Competitive Analysis
Conduct regular market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities to ensure Hero Vired’s courses remain competitive and appealing to professionals.
Gather feedback from partners and clients to inform product development and channel strategy adjustments.
5. Training and Enablement
Design and deliver training programs for channel partners to ensure they are well-equipped to represent Hero Vired effectively, understand the course offerings, and can provide high-value consultations to prospective students.
Keep partners updated on new courses, certifications, and special offers to enhance their sales capabilities.
6. Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with the marketing, product, and customer support teams to create a seamless experience for channel partners and students.
Partner with the data analytics team to track key performance indicators and implement data-driven decision-making for channel optimization.
Required Skills and Experience:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
Experience :5-8 years of experience in channel sales, partner management, or B2 B sales, preferably in the education or ed-tech industry. Proven track record in managing and scaling channel partnerships with significant revenue impact.
Skills: Strong understanding of the needs of working professionals and the education/upskilling landscape. Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and manage multiple stakeholders.
Proficiency in sales CRM software and data analytics tools for performance tracking and reporting.
Strong presentation and communication skills.
Strategic thinker with the ability to handle ambiguity and drive results in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Attributes:
Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Knowledge of market trends and challenges specific to the education and ed-tech industry.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
