We design HVAC, power, lighting, and plumbing systems for various commercial, residential, industrial, educational, healthcare, public, and industrial buildings across multiple locations in the U.S., with the majority of projects located in Southern California.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Electrical Engineer at H2S Engineers Inc. The role involves tasks such as generating single-line diagrams of electrical systems, creating panel schedules and layout circuiting and lighting designs, perform photometric calculations for lighting systems, coordinate power requirements with architectural, mechanical, and plumbing trades, develop energy models using EnergyPro software, produce electrical construction documents with minimal oversight from senior engineers and ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards. The Electrical Engineer will work closely with the U.S. team on a daily basis and develop engineered electrical construction documents. The Electrical Engineer will also support construction administration on projects by reviewing equipment submittals, resolving RFIs, and coordinating with contractors. This is a work-from-office position in Surat, and we offer relocation assistance.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years designing power and lighting systems for commercial, residential and industrial buildings.
Strong understanding of California codes, NFPA 70, and Title 24 requirements.
Ability to communicate effectively within the internal team using virtual tools.
Proficiency in REVIT and CAD software
Familiar with T24/Energy Pro
Familiarity with industry standards and best practices
Experience in designing Electrical systems for commercial and residential buildings
Knowledge of energy codes and international standards
Strong understanding of building services and system integration
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Relevant bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Willingness to work 1 to 2 hours at night between 9 and 11 pm IST, primarily for communication with the U.S. team

Working Hours
Our working hours are 9am to 6pm Monday thru friday and about 1 to 2 hours (Typically less then 1 hr) at night to communicate with US teams on daily basis. We compensate for approved overtime.
Compensation
We exceed industry standards in compensation by 20 to 30% average and more. We have regular bonus structure and review process.
$10K/yr - $20K/yr + Bonus
