Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Plumbing Engineer at H2S Engineers Inc. The role involves tasks such as sizing plumbing utilities for buildings, developing site utility plans, generating fixture selections, creating waste/water/vent designs, developing medical gas system designs, and creating riser diagrams. The Plumbing Engineer will work closely with the U.S. team on a daily basis and develop engineered plumbing construction documents. The Plumbing Engineer will also support construction administration on projects by reviewing equipment and fixture submittals and resolving RFIs. This is a work-from-office position in Surat, and we offer relocation assistance.
Qualifications
Plumbing and plumbing design skills
Proficiency in REVIT and CAD
Experience with industry standards
Experience in commercial and residential plumbing design
Experience in sizing service utilities like water meters, gas services, and water heaters
Familiarity with international or uniform codes
Knowledge of building services
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Relevant bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field
Willingness to work 1 to 2 hours at night between 9 and 11 pm IST, primarily for communication with the U.S. team

Working Hours
Our working hours are 9am to 6pm Monday thru friday and about 1 to 2 hours (Typically less then 1 hr) at night to communicate with US teams on daily basis. We compensate for approved overtime.
Compensation
We exceed industry standards in compensation by 20 to 30% average and more. We have regular bonus structure and review process.
