H2 S Engineers is a U. S.-based MEP consulting engineering firm established in 2013. H2 S has a branch office in Surat that houses a staff of 15 engineers as of December 2024. We design HVAC, power, lighting, and plumbing systems for various commercial, residential, industrial, educational, healthcare, public, and industrial buildings across multiple locations in the U. S., with the majority of projects located in Southern California.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Mechanical Engineer at H2 S Engineers Inc. The role involves tasks such as designing and sizing HVAC systems for buildings, developing ductwork and piping layouts, performing equipment selections, creating energy-efficient mechanical designs, developing load calculations, making T24 compaliace in energy pro and generating system schematics and riser diagrams. The Mechanical Engineer will work closely with the U. S. team on a daily basis and develop engineered mechanical construction documents. The Mechanical Engineer will also support construction administration on projects by reviewing equipment submittals, resolving RFIs, and coordinating with contractors. This is a work-from-office position in Surat, and we offer relocation assistance.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years designing HVAC systems for commercial, residential and industrial buildings.
Expertise in HVAC design and system development
Proficiency in REVIT and CAD software
Familiar with T24/Energy Pro
Familiarity with industry standards and best practices
Experience in designing HVAC systems for commercial and residential buildings
Proficiency in performing load calculations, equipment sizing, and ductwork/piping layouts
Knowledge of energy codes and international standards
Strong understanding of building services and system integration
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Relevant bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Willingness to work 1 to 2 hours at night between 9 and 11 pm IST, primarily for communication with the U. S. team

Working Hours
Our working hours are 9am to 6pm Monday thru friday and about 1 to 2 hours (Typically less then 1 hr) at night to communicate with US teams on daily basis. We compensate for approved overtime.
Compensation
We exceed industry standards in compensation by 20 to 30% average and more. We have regular bonus structure and review process.
$10 K/yr - $20 K/yr + Bonus
