Key Responsibilities:
Develop and validate numerical models using advanced simulation software, conducting detailed structural analysis of ship components and systems with FEA/CAE tools.
Analyze and interpret simulation results, providing recommendations to improve designs.
Prepare, review, and present technical reports and presentations.
Stay informed about industry trends and advancements, identifying new service opportunities to meet market needs.
Manage client and customer relationships, identifying opportunities for project and service expansion.
Conduct design reviews, recommend enhancements, and monitor project progress to resolve issues and apply corrective actions as needed.
Document lessons learned from projects and facilitate regular knowledge-sharing sessions within the team.
Lead and oversee the engineering analysis team to ensure successful project execution.
Collaborate with the Head of Department (HoD), department manager, and project stakeholders to address project requirements and challenges.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers and designers, developing team skill sets in line with department needs.
Desired Candidate Profile
Proficient in FEA/CAE tools with a solid understanding of structural analysis and design principles.
Knowledgeable in industry standards, regulations, and codes.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities with experience in project management.
Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
Highly organized and able to perform effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
