Position: Audit AssistantExperience: 1–2 YearsLocation: Ashok Nagar, ChennaiFirm: VRU & Co., Chartered AccountantsRole Overview:We are seeking a proactive Audit Assistant to support our audit and compliance engagements. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in accounting, taxation, statutory filings, and on-ground audit work.Key Responsibilities:- Assist in statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits.-- Prepare and file Income Tax Returns, Tax Audits and support assessment-related work.-- Manage GST filings (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, Annual Return) and handle GST appeals and refunds.-- Maintain accurate accounting records and perform ledger scrutiny.-- Coordinate with clients for data collection, follow-ups, and documentation.-- Ensure timely completion of assignments with professional quality standards.Required Skills & Competencies:- Working knowledge of Income Tax, Tax Audit, GST law, and GST portal operations.-- Ability to handle accounting software (Tally is mandatory).-- Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.-- Effective communication and willingness to learn.-- Prior experience in a Chartered Accountant's office will be considered a strong advantage (additional value).Qualification:- CA/CMA/CA Inter/CMA Inter/Semi Qualified CA/CMAWhat We Offer:- Learning exposure across diverse industries.-- Opportunity for professional growth and mentorship.-- Collaborative and performance-driven work environment.
