Director, Web, Mobile Product Engineering

About the RoleThe Director, Web & Mobile Product Engineering will lead a large team (150+) in Pune to design, build, and deliver innovative, scalable, and secure web and mobile applications. This role requires a blend of technical depth, product mindset, and strategic leadership to ensure engineering outcomes align with business goals. The Director will define and drive the product roadmap, oversee end-to-end product lifecycle, implement DevSecOps and Agile best practices, and ensure high-quality, reliable delivery. A key part of the role includes building and nurturing teams, collaborating with senior leadership, and shaping digital transformation initiativesMust-Have SkillsExperience: Around 20 years of overall experience in software product engineering.Leadership: Proven track record of managing large teams (50–100 employees) across engineering and testingTechnical Expertise:- Cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).- Microservices architecture, modern web/mobile technologies.- DevSecOps and Agile deliveryProduct Engineering: Demonstrated success in scaling digital products and platforms with measurable business impact. This person will be leading team of Engineering and Testing.Lifecycle Management: Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, DevOps methodologies and product lifecycle practices.Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and ability to engage with executive leadership and board-level stakeholders.Team Building: Ability to build teams (preferred - from scratch) develop leadership pipelines, and drive organizational development. )Good-to-Have (Preferred)- Healthcare exposure – understanding US healthcare platforms, HIPAA compliance, data privacy, interoperability (HL7, FHIR).- Digital/AI – familiarity with AI in digital products.
