Seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Project Manager with GIS expertise to design and develop geospatial platforms, oversee data publishing activities, manage workflows, and ensure data quality. This in-house contract role involves contributing to engineering design and development, providing technical leadership, and facilitating Agile processes to foster team collaboration and innovation. Roles and Responsibilities 1. Engineering Planning & Tech Lead Coordinate with different teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and other stakeholders. Collaborate with IT operations and technical teams to plan, assign, and execute work based on priorities. Provide technical guidance to resolve challenges faced by development teams. Ensure timelines and client expectations are met while maintaining high-quality standards. Facilitate Agile processes and ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Promote a collaborative team environment to ensure alignment on goals and priorities. Remove roadblocks to team productivity and support continuous improvement efforts. 2. Engineering Development and Data Publishing Build and publish high-quality data using tools and workflows for data preparation and publishing. Perform quality assurance checks to ensure data completeness and accuracy. Support investigations into data errors and respond to inquiries from end-users. Add and monitor jobs in the data processing and monitoring tools, extract data using SQL/FME, and publish via Geo Server and c Kan. Design and implement new workflows for data processing. Manage and fulfill departmental client work requests efficiently. Must haves Candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in CS or IT 4+ years of working experience in hands-on software development. 2+ years of managerial working experience. Experience in stakeholder management, coordination, and working with clients and vendors. Proficiency in SQL, and Geo Server. Proficient experience in implementing, troubleshooting and maintaining APIs for mobile and web applications using Python and databases like Postgre SQL. Experience with core web-enabling technologies on cloud infrastructure provider AWS Strong knowledge of the Scrum framework. Good to Have Experience in GIS Data Publishing, including tools like advanced GIS data preparation tools and workflows. Proficiency in FME, and c Kan. Why Us?
