We are looking for someone with a passion for creative storytelling through the use of short-form videos and long-form videos, motion design. Someone with a great eye in motion design and video editing to capture a given story in the best possible manner. The video Editor will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as video production, video editing, video color grading, motion graphics, and video graphic design. The ideal candidate is someone with great creative instincts who can think independently about how to convey information in a dynamic and original way. The candidate must have 1 year of experience in video editing and proficiency in industry-standard software, for example - Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, etc.
Responsibilities:
Edit video footage for social media, and websites.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create videos.
Develop visually engaging graphics to be used within the videos, for thumbnails and social promotion.
Attention to detail and creativity in the video post-production process.
Understand the nuances of visual storytelling aligned with current social media trends.
Good understanding of visuals and sound designing of a video.
Stay updated with industry trends and software.
Give creative inputs to enhance the production quality and story.
Create videos (for short-form and long-form content), including captioning, audio editing, and visual optimization.
Present drafts to the relevant managers and must be flexible in incorporating any feedback given into future designs and editings.
Requirements:
1 year of experience in video editing.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, etc. ).
Intermediate knowledge of graphic design fundamentals like typography, white space, color composition, etc.
Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Experienced in creating visually appealing and engaging video content.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Receive and apply feedback with an open mind, creative spirit.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Must have a strong portfolio to support the above requirement.
