With a team of more than 3,000 employees operating in 90 plus countries and a global network of over 35,000 experts, we help improve economies, societies and, most importantly, people's lives.Purpose of PositionPalladium India is welcoming applications for our HR Internship Program.The HR Intern will support the HR team and the Human Resources Manager - to implement HR services, programs, and activities in support of the Palladium India Business.Primary responsibilitiesThe primary responsibilities are to:- Support HR team in database management.- Support recruitment processes.- Support HR Manager to complete due diligence process for all selected candidates and ensure all staff engaged fulfil Palladium requirements (child protection policy, reference checks, code of conduct etc.)- Support in staff preboarding and onboarding, staff performance management, and off-boarding process.- Maintain up to date records of HR and recruitment files.- Interview scheduling.- Sourcing CVs from job portals and LinkedIn.- Desk research and brainstorming for employee engagement activities.- Other duties as may be required by Manager, consistent with the incumbent’s role.- Payroll Reporting: Assisting in preparing payroll reports for management, HR, and accounting purposes, including payroll summaries, tax filings, and other financial reports.- Conducting research and analysis on payroll-related issues, such as discrepancies in pay, payroll trends, or changes in payroll laws, to support decision-making and process improvement efforts.- Maintaining strict confidentiality of payroll information and adhering to company policies and procedures regarding data protection and privacy.- Creating PAFs / Expense Claims. Assist in processing employee expense reports by reviewing submitted expenses, ensuring they comply with company policies and procedures, and accurately recording them in the expense management system.- Conducting research on financial topics, industry trends, and competitor analysis to provide insights and recommendations for strategic planning and decision-making.Reporting requirementsThe role reports to the Human Resources Manager, India.Key competencies required:- Improver/innovator mindset, contributing ideas to improve the platform, team, department, and wider organization.- Self-starter: you thrive on taking ownership of initiatives with limited oversight- Ability to make recommendations to effectively address issues using critical judgment that is consistent with HR best practice, policies, regulations, and applicable legislation.- Demonstrable understanding of the importance of confidentiality in an HR context.Freshers and candidates getting back to workforce are encouraged to apply.Equity, Diversity & Inclusion - We welcome applications from all sections of society and actively encourage diversity to drive innovation, creativity, success and good practice.
