Primary Purpose To ensure the accuracy, clarity, and quality of written work. Proofreading involves carefully reviewing and correcting errors in grammar, spelling, punctuation, formatting, and overall writing style. It plays a crucial role in enhancing the credibility and professionalism of academic papers, essays, assignments, and other written materials. Key Responsibility JOB DESCRIPTIONS: Key Responsibilities: Review K-12 curriculum framework andrelated documents created for national and international schools Review framework for continual professional development of teachers in the government and non-government sector Review research analysis, reports, conclusions and evidence Review content related to school curriculum – Pre-primary /K-12 (preferably all boards – National and International) and teacher training and development Review lesson plans, worksheets, blueprints and all other curriculum-related documents and reading material for teacher training for content accuracy. Review digital assets in the form of storyboards, animations, PPTs, etc. Check content for conceptual accuracy. Check content for spiraling of topics/concepts across grades/levels. Ensure the content is factually correct. Suggest measures to enhance or correct inconsistencies in the content reviewed Ensure that content is of the highest quality. Check content for language, readability and adherence to editorial policies and style guides. Review documents for grammar, spelling and style. Check the content for copyrights. Make and present presentations using Power Point. Make analysis and feedback reports. Be an active part of the different review processes, like peer-review, self-review, etc. Coordinate and work closely with the team as and when required. Meet timelines for project delivery. Desired Qualification Masters in English Language & Literature. Preferred - B. Ed in English Special Qualification None Experience Candidates with 0-5+ years’ experience as an editor in an educational organization/publishing House reviewing K-12 content. Should have reviewed/worked on digital content (storyboards, animations, PPTs, etc.) Qualification or experience in Pre-primary/ E. C. C. E. D. will be an added advantage VIBGYOR experience will help. Expected Competencies Should have excellent verbal and written English, including spelling and grammar. Should have the ability to spot and rectify grammatical, syntactical and conceptual errors effectively. Should have knowledge of board recommendations (Indian and International – ICSE, CBSE, CAIE, IB) for K-12 curriculum and policy documents for school and teacher education (NEP 2020). Should have an eye for detail. Should have a meticulous approach towards work. Should have the ability to maintain high-quality work while meeting tight deadlines. Should be inquisitive and curious. Should be a team player. Should be well-versed with working online. Should be comfortable working on MS Office.
