The Digital Excellence Centre is responsible for building products and platforms for Deloitte India that focuses on providing extraordinary customer experience by putting design thinking with trailblazing technology in the center of what they do. The diverse team consists of subject matter experts, technology specialists, quality engineers, user experience researchers & designers, data scientists and product managers. As a Deputy Manager/Manager – Governance in our DEC Team you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations: - You will be responsible for driving organizational excellence through the development, implementation and monitoring of governance policies and processes. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in collecting and publishing organization-level metrics, supporting internal audits and ensuring robust governance aligned with the product development lifecycle (PDLC). Identify, develop and implement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and governance processes across the organization. • Policy and Process Development : Create, document and maintain organization-level policies and processes to ensure consistency, compliance and alignment with strategic objectives. • Metrics Management : Collect, analyse and publish organization-level metrics to provide insights into performance, compliance and areas for improvement. • Ensure adherence to TCF and TOM standards, maintaining a robust governance framework that aligns with organizational goals. • Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams to align governance practices with business objectives and product lifecycle requirements. • Risk Mitigation : Proactively identify risks in governance processes and implement controls to mitigate them. Product Lifecycle Governance : Strong understanding of product development lifecycle (PDLC) governance principles and best practices. • PDLC Knowledge : Familiarity with the basics of the Product Development Lifecycle, including stages, deliverables and governance checkpoints. • Proven ability to document and implement policies and processes that drive organizational efficiency. • Analytical Skills : Proficiency in collecting, analysing and interpreting data to produce meaningful metrics and reports. • Knowledge of PDLC governance frameworks with experience ensuring adherence to these standards. • Experience assisting with internal audits and addressing findings. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with stakeholders and present governance-related insights. • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Information Technology. A master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g.PMP) is a plus. • (For Assistant Manager): Up to 5 years of experience in governance, process improvement, or a related role. • (For Manager): 7+ years of experience in governance, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role. • Demonstrated experience in product lifecycle governance and process development. • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, or similar) is preferred. • Experience in a technology-driven organization with a focus on product development. • Prior experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization. This profile does not involve extensive travel for work. Hybrid is our default way of working. Each domain has customised the hybrid approach to their unique needs.
