The Sourcing Executive – RM & PM will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and procuring high-quality raw materials (such as essential oils, actives, fragrances, and surfactants) and packaging materials (such as bottles, jars, caps, labels, and cartons) for personal care products. This role ensures cost-effective purchasing, supplier reliability, and timely availability of materials to support smooth production operations. Evaluate and negotiate supplier quotations, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery. Collaborate with R&D , Quality , and Production teams to identify new ingredients or packaging innovations aligned with brand needs. Manage supplier performance based on quality, delivery timelines, service, and compliance. Coordinate with suppliers for material samples, specifications, and technical data sheets (TDS, COA, MSDS, etc.). Ensure packaging materials meet brand design, sustainability, and regulatory standards. Maintain and update vendor database, purchase orders, and sourcing documentation. Ensure adherence to company policies, ethical sourcing, and environmental compliance standards. Strong knowledge of raw materials and packaging used in cosmetics/personal care . Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills. Understanding of quality and regulatory standards (FDA, BIS, etc.) . Familiarity with import/export processes and lead time management. Proficiency in MS Office, MS Excel, ERP System 1-3 years of experience in handling sustainable or eco-friendly packaging sourcing. ~ Knowledge of global suppliers for cosmetic actives and specialty ingredients. ~ Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Supplier performance (quality, delivery, responsiveness).
