Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior QA Engineer with 9+ years of expertise in both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in setting up and leading automation frameworks from scratch, with a focus on both website and mobile app testing. This role requires leadership capabilities to manage the QA team, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure top-tier product quality. The candidate should also stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in QA, including tools like BrowserStack for cross-browser testing and JAM Board for bug capturing. Key Responsibilities: Automation Leadership: Design, implement, and maintain robust automation testing frameworks for both web and mobile applications. Establish best practices and processes for test automation within the organization. Lead efforts to continuously improve test automation, including the selection of tools and frameworks. Stay updated on emerging trends and tools in the QA field, such as Browser Stack for cross-browser testing and JAM Board for bug capturing and tracking. Team Leadership: Lead the QA team, mentoring and guiding junior testers. Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure QA alignment with project goals. Ensure the QA team is consistently delivering high-quality testing results, both automated and manual. Manual Testing: Lead and participate in manual testing when necessary to ensure comprehensive test coverage. Develop and maintain detailed test cases, scripts, and reports for manual and automated testing efforts. Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with development teams to understand the product and feature requirements. Report and track issues, defects, and enhancements using tools like JAM Board for bug capturing, ensuring effective resolution. Collaborate in agile development cycles, ensuring timely testing and quality delivery of features. Required Skills & Experience: 9+ years of hands-on experience in QA with a focus on Automation Testing. Proven expertise in setting up and managing automation frameworks for web and mobile applications from scratch. Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies and processes. Expertise in test automation tools like Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar. Proficiency in programming/scripting languages for automation (e.g., Java, Python). Strong understanding of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab) for integrating automation testing. Familiarity with tools like Browser Stack for cross-browser testing and JAM Board for bug capturing. Experience with agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence). Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent leadership, communication, and mentoring abilities. Preferred: Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter). Knowledge of cloud-based testing solutions and infrastructure. Familiarity with security testing processes. Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
