Simpencil is Looking for Lead Content Writers - Are You the One?

Designation: Lead Content Writer 

Experience: 3 to 5 years 

Reports to: Product Manager

Location: Bangalore 

Job Type: Full-time, Work from Office (Onsite) 

 

Roles and Responsibilities:  

  • Conduct in-depth research on industry-related topics to develop original content. 
  • Create and edit content for blogs, articles, product descriptions, social media posts/campaigns, email campaigns and the company website. 
  • Proofread content for errors and inconsistencies. 
  • Edit and polish existing content to improve readability. 
  • Write coherent copy that motivates, inspires, educates, informs, sells, and provides information across a wide variety of digital platforms. 
  • Write content that performs well in internet search results. 
  • Conduct ongoing research within your industry to stay up-to-date with trends. 
  • Write scripts and collaborate with graphic designers to create graphics and videos that support your written content. 

Skills Required:  

  • Impeccable grasp of the English language, including idioms and current trends in slang and expressions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to communicate with clients, colleagues, and management. 
  • Proven content writing or copywriting experience 
  • Proficiency with computers, especially writing programs such as Google Docs and Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with each client's requirements and the company's brand image, products, and services.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. 
  • The ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
