Job Title: Social Media Executive Location: Akshaya Nagar, Bangalore Department: Marketing Job Type: Full-Time Job Overview: We are looking for a creative and motivated Social Media Executive to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will manage and enhance the company’s social media presence across various platforms, develop engaging content, and monitor social media trends. You will play a key role in building and maintaining Iron Asylum's online brand presence, driving engagement, and fostering a community of loyal followers. Key Responsibilities: Social Media Management : Develop and execute social media strategies to align with the company’s goals and objectives. Manage day-to-day social media activity on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Linked In, Twitter, and others. Post relevant content (text, images, video) to engage and grow the company’s online community. Respond to customer inquiries, comments, and feedback across social media channels in a timely and professional manner. Content Creation : Create original, high-quality, and engaging content tailored to each social media platform. Collaborate with the design and content teams to produce visual and written materials for posts, campaigns, and ads. Stay up-to-date with social media trends and incorporate them into content creation. Community Engagement : Build and maintain relationships with followers, influencers, and industry partners. Manage social media discussions and encourage community interaction. Monitor and respond to relevant conversations, comments, and hashtags within the community. Campaign Management : Plan and implement paid social media advertising campaigns. Monitor and report on campaign performance and make adjustments to optimize engagement and reach. Analyze and report on the effectiveness of social media campaigns, identifying opportunities for improvement. Social Media Analytics : Track social media metrics such as engagement rates, reach, traffic, and conversions. Use analytics tools to generate reports and provide actionable insights to improve social media performance. Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and audience preferences to refine social media strategy. Brand Consistency : Ensure all social media content and communications are consistent with the company’s brand voice, tone, and style. Assist in maintaining the company’s social media brand guidelines and visual identity. Collaboration and Reporting : Work closely with the marketing, content, and customer service teams to ensure alignment in messaging and initiatives. Provide regular updates to management regarding social media performance, growth, and content strategy. Requirements: Proven experience as a Social Media Executive, Social Media Manager, or similar role in a marketing department. Strong understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Linked In, Twitter, You Tube, Tik Tok, etc.) and social media management tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling and engaging content. Creativity and strong attention to detail, with the ability to tailor content to different platforms. Familiarity with social media advertising tools and campaigns (e.g., Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads). Ability to analyze and interpret social media analytics to optimize strategy and content. Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, and meet deadlines. Knowledge of SEO, online marketing, and marketing analytics is a plus. A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred. Preferred Skills: Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva, etc.) is a plus. Understanding of influencer marketing and ability to collaborate with influencers to promote the brand. Basic understanding of video production and editing for social media content. Personal Attributes: Creative and proactive, with a passion for social media and staying current on industry trends. Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset. Highly adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
