This role involves developing and executing a comprehensive investor relations strategy, engaging with the investment community, and identifying and executing strategic M&A opportunities. This incumbent ensures the company’s financial narrative is communicated effectively to stakeholders and supports the company's growth through strategic acquisitions.Investor Relations Strategy & Corporate DevelopmentDevelop and implement a proactive investor relations strategy that aligns with the company's goals and enhances its value proposition.Maintain and enhance relationships with current investors while identifying and targeting potential investors.Communication and ReportingServe as the primary contact for the investment community, including analysts, institutional investors, and retail investors.Prepare and present quarterly and annual financial reports, earnings releases, and other key financial communications.Organize and lead investor meetings, conference calls, and presentations.Develop clear and compelling messaging for earnings releases, press releases, and other communications.Market Analysis and FeedbackMonitor market trends, competitor actions, and investor sentiment.Provide feedback to senior management and the board on market perceptions and investor concerns.Conduct competitive analysis and provide insights on industry developments that may affect the company.Regulatory ComplianceEnsure all investor communications comply with regulatory requirements, including SEC regulations and disclosure practices.Coordinate with legal and finance teams to maintain accurate and compliant financial disclosures.Stakeholder EngagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including institutional investors, analysts, and retail shareholders.Manage the shareholder engagement process, including responding to inquiries and facilitating shareholder meetings.Event ManagementPlan and execute investor-related events such as annual general meetings, investor days, and roadshows.Represent the company at industry conferences and investor meetings.Mergers & Acquisitions StrategyDevelop and execute the company's M&A strategy in alignment with overall business objectives.Identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets, partnerships, and investment opportunities.Due DiligenceLead the due diligence process for potential acquisitions, including financial analysis, risk assessment, and synergy evaluation.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (legal, finance, operations) to ensure comprehensive due diligence and integration planning.Transaction ManagementNegotiate terms and structure of M&A deals.Manage the end-to-end M&A process, from initial contact to deal closure and integration.Ensure timely and effective communication throughout the transaction process.Post-Merger IntegrationDevelop and oversee post-merger integration plans to ensure smooth transition and realization of expected synergies.Monitor and report on the performance of acquired entities to senior management.Market and Industry AnalysisConduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends and potential M&A opportunities.Provide strategic recommendations to senior management based on market insights and competitive analysis.QualificationBachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred)Must Have'sCirca 12 years of experience in investor relations, corporate finance, M&A, or a related field.Proven track record of managing investor relations for a publicly traded company and executing successful M&A transactions.Experience in strategic financial communications, market analysis, and transaction management.Skills & Personal AttributesIndependent, Highly Organized and Self MotivatedHigh level of professionalism and integrity.Strong leadership and team management capabilities.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.Proactive and self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.Exceptional communication and presentation skills.Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.In-depth understanding of financial statements, capital markets, investment principles, and M&A processes.Ability to build and maintain relationships with investors, analysts, and potential acquisition targets.Excellent organizational and project management skills
