Job Title : Senior Executive - Business Transformation ( Data Scientist)Location : Vikhroli, MumbaiRole Summary –As a data scientist, you will be a part of the analytics team that develops data driven insights across cross functional teams across all GCPL’s countries to drive efficiency and make strategic business decisions. This is why we encourage them, not just to explore their whole selves, but also create an enabling space for them to do so.Your Roles & ResponsibilitiesDefine, breakdown and solve the business problems across business functions while leveraging conventional & new age data sources, and a wide array of techniques to make predictions on potential future outcomes and support decision makingApply advanced statistical and predictive modelling techniques to build, maintain and improve on multiple decision systems and processesPartner and engage with business & transformation leads and teams across key functions such as marketing, supply chain, sales, finance and manufacturing to identify, evolve and fully understand the key business questions and deliver relevant insights that lead to actions.Work autonomously in a fast paced environmentQualification & ExperienceB.Tech or Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics or computer science or related quantitative field from tier 1/2 institutes2-4 years’ experience in analytics and data scienceSkills RequiredHands on experience in R or PythonGood knowledge on Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA)Familiarity with advanced statistical and predictive modelling techniques such as regression, time series, decision trees etc.Strong problem-solving skills – able to find various ways to solve problems and decide which solution to move forwardStakeholdersInternal – Functional teams across geographiesExternal – Data and Analytics service providers, Cloud service providers
