Position: APPLICATION SUPPORT ENGINEERRole: AssociateJob-Type: Full Time (Third party payroll*)Location: BangaloreFunction: Corporate Security & Investigations (CSI)Sub-Function: SecTech*Note: This is a third party deployed rolePosition Overview:The Application Support Engineer is responsible for configuring, monitoring, and maintaining the Access Control and CCTV systems’ software and all backend hardware including the application Servers of all Morgan Stanley offices globally. The staff will be the primary contact for all Security Technology related issues/ outages.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:• Technical Product Supporto To provide configuration support for but not limited to Access Control and CCTV systemso To diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues pertaining to Access Control CCTV systems and other CSI applications.o To provide remote support to our internal clients on system configuration.o To identify and analyse system failures and provide support to on-site techs for break-fix.o To Track system issues through to resolution within agreed time limits.o To escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams.o To document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals at the dedicated file depository/knowledgebase.• Application Server Supporto To install and configure the security system applications on the servers.o To provide 24x7 monitoring of application services hosted on the servers.o Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams.• Other Responsibilitieso To respond timely and professionally to the emergency Service calls during office hours and off office hours including nights.o To involve other team members to establish best practices/ decisions.o To act independently as and when required.o To report to senior management to ensure satisfaction of work.o Participate in departmental meetings.Qualifications/ Competencies/ Position Requirements• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilitieso Knowledge of Access Control and CCTV systems. Experience in Installation and Maintenance of Access Control and CCTV Systems is a plus.o Experience in CCURE 9000 and CCURE GO software and all related hardware (eg: iStar controller) and their integration.o Experience in enterprise CCTV systems like Intellicene (Cognyte/Verint) Symphia VMS, Genetec video solutions etc.o Experience in Windows Server Operating systems (Eg: Windows Server 2016, 2019)o Experience in SQL is a pluso Experience in PowerShell programming.o Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinkingo Technical trouble shooting and reverse engineering skillso Excellent verbal and written communication skillso Motivated self-starter and ability to multitask.• Educational Qualificationo Engineering Degree in Electronics/ Computer Science or any equivalent qualification.
