TEKsystems is hiring for Service Now developers with ITAM experience.
About the Opportunity:
Notice Period: Immediate to 20 days
Experience: 4+ years
Role Summary :
As a Service Now Developer, your primary responsibility will be to manage and optimize the Service Now platform to support the organization's IT Asset Management (ITAM) with primarily working on implementation of SAM and HAM.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the platform meets business needs and aligns with ITIL best practices.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Creation/implementation/modification of Service Now SAM/HAM components.
Customize and configure Service Now SAM/HAM Pro to meet specific organizational needs.
Participation in at least two Service Now deployment projects, specifically ITSM Asset Management and Hardware Asset Management (HAM)& Software Asset Modules (SAM) Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Saa S applications with Service Now SAM Pro.
Manage and oversee the entitlement upload process for in-scope software publishers.
Understand detailed requirements and own code from design, implementation, test automation, and delivery of high-quality solutions to our customers.
Perform regular reconciliation of deployment details received from integration sources.
Scripting (Java Script) for different modules for writing Rules, Updating/creating workflows, APIs etc.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
5 to 6 years of experience Service Now Developer with strong administration, development, and support skills on Service Now SAM/HAM
Service Now certification(s) preferred.-CIS HAM, CIS SAM and CSA certified.
Strong understanding of ITSM processes and ITIL framework.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Strong proficiency in Java Script, Service Now scripting, and other relevant technologies.
In-depth knowledge of IT Asset Management processes and best practices.
Service Now Certified System Administrator and Application Developer certifications preferred.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and ITIL v3 or v4 Certification preferred.
