Role Overview:

As a Fashion Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing kidswear collections that resonate with Nap Chief’s brand identity. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to bring designs from concept to final production.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design Conceptualization and Development
  • Create unique and trendy designs that align with the brand’s vision and target market.
  • Stay updated with fashion trends and incorporate these insights into the design process.
  • Fabric Selection and Development
  • Source fabrics that complement the brand’s style, ensuring quality and sustainability.
  • Work with suppliers to develop custom fabrics as needed for collections.
  • Product Development and Sampling
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure designs are executed efficiently.
  • Oversee the creation of samples, making necessary adjustments to ensure the final product meets quality standards.
  • Trend Research and Analysis
  • Conduct market research and analyze fashion trends to predict upcoming styles.
  • Attend fashion shows and follow industry leaders to stay ahead of design trends.
  • Collaboration with Marketing and Sales Teams
  • Work closely with the marketing team to ensure designs are effectively showcased in campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand consumer preferences and develop designs that cater to customer needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in kidswear or apparel design.
  • Proficiency in design software like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CorelDRAW.
  • Strong understanding of fabrics, trims, prints, and garment construction.
  • Excellent sketching, illustration, and visualization skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, multitask, and manage multiple design projects.
  • Creative thinker with an eye for detail and aesthetics.
  • Team player with strong communication and collaboration skills.
