As our campuses grow and change, we are looking for a skilled Civil Engineer to manage our infrastructure and support our mission of creating a world-class learning environment.Role Overview: Civil EngineerWe are looking for a skilled and proactive Civil Engineer to join our team in Jaipur. This full-time, on-site role is vital for overseeing the design, construction, maintenance, and expansion of infrastructure across our various educational campuses. The ideal candidate will make sure all facilities are safe, functional, and meet the Group's high standards and long-term growth plans.Key Responsibilities
• Project Management: Plan, design, and oversee civil engineering projects for new buildings, campus expansions, renovations, and site development.
• Infrastructure Management: Manage campus infrastructure, including water supply, sewerage systems, drainage, and stormwater management to ensure sustainability and compliance.
• Site Supervision: Supervise site layouts, grading plans, utility designs (water, power, data cabling pathways), roadworks, and landscaping projects.
• Estimation and Planning: Conduct feasibility studies, prepare detailed project reports (DPRs), cost estimates, and project schedules for all civil works.
• Vendor and Contractor Coordination: Work with architects, consultants, and external contractors to ensure smooth and timely execution of construction and maintenance projects.
• Quality & Safety Assurance: Monitor project progress, conduct regular site inspections, and ensure strict adherence to building codes, safety regulations (National Building Code), and quality standards.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain all engineering documentation, including blueprints, 'as-built' drawings, project completion reports, and technical specifications.
• Maintenance and Upkeep: Manage routine maintenance and repairs for all buildings and civil infrastructure, recommending improvements for efficiency and sustainability.Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• Experience: At least 10 years of comprehensive experience in construction project management, site development, and infrastructure maintenance, ideally for large institutional, commercial, or hospital complexes.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of building construction, public health engineering (water supply, sanitation), and infrastructure management principles.
• Software Proficiency: Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential. Familiarity with project management software (e.g., MS Project) is highly desirable.
• Liaison Experience (Preferable): Experience working with local municipal authorities (e.g., Jaipur Development Authority - JDA) for project approvals and permits is highly preferable.
• Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities, along with a strong capacity for project leadership.
