About the Role We’re looking for a Fashion Merchandiser (Women’s Ethnic Wear) to drive end-to-end product development — from techpacks and sampling to cost optimisation, PP approvals, and cataloguing. You’ll work closely with design, sourcing, production, and quality teams to ensure every SKU is delivered with accuracy, speed, and creativity. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys fast-paced launches, loves problem-solving, and wants to contribute to building one of India’s fastest-growing ethnic wear brands. Roles & Responsibilities Create detailed Product Techpacks in alignment with the Selected Ranges each week. Create and maintain a list of all New Samples with necessary details and maintain a seamless record of the Resource Library. Work on cost optimisations by adding creative merchandise solutions, feasibility conversions, marker efficiencies and enhanced catalogue presentations. Update Excel based Product sheets and repositories basis SKUs in working (Design + Bulk). Coordinate with the sub functions of Design Team and cross functional teams for smooth work flow. Keep a tight Track of the progress of New Designs from the Sourcing stage to the Final PP stage. Create regular reports of the Design and sampling status and submit them to the Buying Lead. Coordinate with Sourcing, Production and Quality for day to day process flow. Ensure updation and accuracy of Product Data with the Actual product in terms of fabric, color, embroidery and other significant attributes. Take End to end ownership of assigned SKU’s including TP creation, cost optimization, PP approvals, cataloguing and website Quality checks. Be familiar with technical and creative nuances of Women’s apparel and keep up with the current trends and carry out market researches & competitor study periodically. Key Qualifications & Skills Completed a full-time course in Fashion/ Merchandising from NIFT/Pearl/other A listed institutes 3+ years of relevant work experience in recognised Women’s Ethnic/Fashion Brand in capacity of a merchandiser Complete technical knowledge of Women’s Apparel wrt pattern making, garment construction, Fabrics, Surface Embellishments, basic knowledge of Dyeing and Printing Techniques, quality and sampling coordination. Good understanding of Excel and Adobe Illustrator. Detail and output-oriented. Proactive and collaborative Strong logical & analytical ability with ease of calculating costs An understanding of E-commerce market and cataloguing Passionate about fashion with a keen eye for trends in women’s ethnic & fusion wear.
