The role involves designing contemporary home furniture pieces that balance aesthetics, functionality, and manufacturability. You will work closely with the design, production, and execution teams to translate concepts into market-ready furniture.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign home furniture pieces including sofas, beds, tables, chairs, storage units, and custom furnitureDevelop concept sketches, mood boards, and design narratives for new collectionsPrepare detailed drawings, 3 D models, and technical specifications for manufacturingWork on material selection , finishes, hardware, and detailing suitable for productionCoordinate with the manufacturing unit, carpenters, and vendors to ensure feasibility and qualityCreate and update shop drawings and prototypes where requiredStay updated with global furniture trends, materials, and finishesAssist in refining designs based on costing, ergonomics, and structural requirementsRequired Skills & QualificationsDegree/Diploma in Furniture Design, Product Design, Industrial Design, Interior Design , or related field1–2 years of hands-on experience in furniture or product designProficiency in Auto CAD , Sketch Up / Rhino , and Photoshop (3ds Max / Fusion 360 is a plus)Strong understanding of materials, joinery, finishes, and hardwareAbility to convert concepts into production-ready drawingsGood aesthetic sense with attention to detailBasic understanding of costing and manufacturing processesWhat We’re Looking ForA design-first mindset with practical thinkingStrong visual and conceptual skillsWillingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced studio environmentGood communication and coordination skillsPassion for home furniture and design craftsmanshipWhat We OfferOpportunity to work on original furniture collectionsHands-on exposure to design-to-execution processCreative and collaborative work environmentGrowth opportunities within a growing furniture and design brand
