Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development & Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of Bryan & Candy. In this role, you will be working closely with the CEO to streamline operational processes, manage cross-departmental functions, sales strategies, budgeting and assist in shaping strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in D2 C (direct-to-consumer) business operations, business development, and client relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management: Oversee and optimize daily operations across various departments including supply chain, marketing, finance, e-commerce and logistics to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the CEO and senior leadership team to define and implement business strategies, identify growth opportunities, and manage the execution of key projects.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and distributors. Ensure that customer service standards are upheld, and client concerns are addressed proactively.
Export Management: Oversee the company’s export activities, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products to international markets while maintaining compliance with all regulations and managing international client relationships.
Business Development: Identify new opportunities for growth and lead initiatives that expand Bryan & Candy’s market presence, both in India and abroad. Work on market research, competitor analysis, and partnership development.
Team Collaboration: Work with various departments (Marketing, Finance, E-commerce, etc.) to ensure that business goals and performance targets are met. Lead internal communications to drive operational efficiency and foster a collaborative work environment.
Reporting & Analysis: Prepare reports on business performance, operational metrics, and project progress for the CEO and key stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications
2-5 years of experience in business development, operations, or project management within a D2 C (Direct-to-Consumer) company, preferably in the lifestyle, FMCG, or beauty industry.
MBA or relevant business qualification.
Strong understanding of operational management, supply chain processes, and marketing.
Proven experience in client relationship management and working with international markets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Strategic thinker with the ability to execute plans effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with operations/CRM software.
A proactive, problem-solving attitude with attention to detail.
