We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10+ years hands-on experience in a DevOps role, with a deep understanding of both development and operational disciplines. The DevOps Administrator is expected to perform a variety of complex project tasks that will require creativity and original thinking.

Linux/Unix Administration: Setup, configure, and administer Linux servers. Perform regular system maintenance to ensure optimal performance.

Scripting and Automation: Use scripting languages like Bash, Python, or PowerShell to automate repetitive tasks and streamline DevOps processes.

Configuration Management: Implement and maintain infrastructure and application configurations using tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.

Automate and optimise deployment processes.

Manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes. Manage deployments, scale systems, and ensure high availability.

Cloud Platforms: Provision, manage, and optimise resources on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Monitor system and application performance using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack. Implement access controls and secure practices in the DevOps environment.

Minimum 10+ years of hands-on experience in a DevOps role

Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix administration

Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell)

Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)

Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes)

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Proficiency in monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)

Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)

Understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements in a DevOps environment
