Role Summary for a Bakery Chef Roles and Responsibilities- Manages all day-to-day operations by maintaining the required ingredients .- Follow proper handling and possess complete knowledge on the temperature of food products, regulations for preserving etc- Engage, coordinate and supervise all food preparation and presentation activities with the team.- Ensuring quality standards are met- Report all equipment problems and maintenance issues, known safety hazards, or unsafe practices and procedures.- Attends all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement- Ensuring culinary standards and responsibilities are met for the team.- Maintains cleanliness in all work areas.- Ensure compliance with food hygiene and Health and Safety standardsRequired Education and Experience- 5+years hands on experience in the Bakery and confectionery industry.- Diploma or equivalent in the relevant industry.- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends  Excellent interpersonal communication skills- Exceptionally good with the Bakery activities from the ground work.- operating knowledge of Cakes, Confectionery, and Bakery products industry- Ability to work with diverse group of staffsLocation: Chennai, Mylapore
